Moonscapes of Jatavira

The dry riverbed of Tal Laiyari in northern Jatavira, Kutch is painted in a temporary pallet of vibrant sediment, which is wiped clean every year with the arrival of the monsoons. Whether explored by air or by foot, the array of textures, gradations, colours and rock formations is staggering.
